The Sunken City is a first person dungeon crawler inspired by games like Kings Field and Lunacid. The twist is the large focus on parrying and faster gameplay. You can parry and dodge enemy projectiles and then either cast spells or use melee for attacks.
You can parry most enemy attacks which knocks back enemies and leaves them open for a follow up attack. parrying enemy projectiles is key to survival.
There are loads of spells in The Sunken City. Many aren't just useful for combat but have other purposes when exploring the world. When you parry an enemy you restore some mana so you can keep spellcasting at a faster pace.
The world is filled with hidden areas and secrets for the player to find. You can find loads of different upgrades like rings, spells, weapons and moveset upgrades for the player. The world is interconnected with different upgrades allowing you to access areas that you previously could not.
