Description

This is a Pre Alpha Demo of MechAnimals, the upcoming action roguelike by solodev Guy Bareli. It is a small vertical slice meant to give players a taste of what's to come. 

MechAnimals lets you play one of four little critters (a cat, a penguin, a teddy bear, and a bionic chick) and call upon their mighty steam powered mechs to battle against evil. procedurally generated robots. It's Hades meets Mario 3D World... but with Mechs!

The demo will feature a single playable level (with random enemies and upgrades), which will take a few tries to complete, single player / up to 4P co-op locally or using 'remote play', and a PvP mode featuring a series of hilarious training arenas.



Key Gameplay Elements:

• Go Tiny or Go Mech: Players can seamlessly switch between fast critter combat and powerful mech attacks.

• Solo Crusade or Co-op Action: Players can embark on missions solo or bring along up to three friends for multiplayer action, offering varied play styles to suit all preferences.

• Unlockable Mechs: Complete runs to unlock different types of mechs, each with its own unique playstyle and signature moves. The demo will feature 2 mech types.

• PvP: Battle with up to three friends in the Sparring Arena to see who reigns supreme!
