KUU is an atmospheric moonbase management game, where you play as a silent caretaker trapped in the fading light of a broken moonhouse. To survive for 30 nights you must balance your scarce resources. Grow meager rations in the weak earthlight. Navigate the emotional sanity of a fragile sisterhood. Decode ancient documents in search of secrets. Your only choices will be impossible ones.
After a mysterious blast from a long-abandoned Earth disables the moonhouse, the difficult decisions begin. You have precious little time and must choose what tasks are vital. Do you puzzle the solar panels together for maximum yield, download more documents in your search for clues, or use the comm desk to decipher some remote hope of rescue? It’s a fragile ecosystem, and time is not on your side.
As tensions rise and food runs low, the fragile sisterhood of the moonhouse will be held together or pulled apart by the stories you uncover. Kuu has been mute since her arrival in the sealed ecosystem. You can answer your sisters only by nodding yes or no. Some will starve, and some will snap. It will be your fault.
Harvest just enough to keep hunger at bay, or risk planting seed for hope of a better yield tomorrow. Turning on the solar panels will help you collect a bit more energy, but they block the precious light your plants need to survive. Give it your best try, before you have to return to hibernation in your sleeper cell.
After a demanding day, your sleeper cell is the only place that feels safe. Here, in the stillness, you pore through the sacred monograph, an ancient study by a disgraced pseudo-archaeologist, for the secret to your sisterhood’s final chance at survival. Can you use what you learn, before running out of time? In the isolated emotional ecosystem of KUU, every impossible choice you make will long echo in the dark.
