Description
This demo providers 10 minutes of solid gameplay. It is a story-driven visual novel, an interactive fiction game with RPG mechanics. The story and characters blend seamlessly throughout puzzle and combat minigames. Your minigame outcomes affect the narrative branching and the trajectory your character takes though the story.
The demo offers a vertical slice of the complete experience found in the full game.
The character begins in the Edifice Ruin, the Tomb of the current Dream-weaver, a guardian
that protects the land of Xoru.
Your character descends into the Tomb, and you need to make a choice: Ascend the spiral staircase, or descend into the scary smoky exit?
Ascending the staircase leads into a combat minigame:
The demo concludes after many twists and turns with a showdown with a gang of wraiths in the Domed Room:
