Description

How much can a person endure, and what is the true value of human life? In this minimalist real-time strategy game about war medics, you fight for your own survival and that of others while the army is under constant pressure, retreating from a superior enemy. A narrative campaign, accompanied by hand-drawn illustrations, takes you through the story of physicians pushed to their breaking point in their fight for a sliver of hope.

In MEDIX, you and the Medical Unit IX of the Imperial Army face a formidable challenge. In a story-driven campaign, you'll embark on a journey that will test your speed, wits, and endurance.

Rescue the wounded from the battlefield, gather supplies to care for them, and build infrastructure. Cleverly distribute your personnel between buildings, and when necessary, pack up your structures and use the recycled materials to build new ones or move the entire camp to a different location. In the heat of battle, you must constantly adapt to the dynamically changing situation.

The people you help, and their loved ones, will gladly support your efforts to upgrade your unit or expand your ranks out of gratitude.

War is both terrible and magnificent, and the characters in our story experience its horrors firsthand. Hand-drawn illustrations accompany an emotional narrative about the effort to save as many lives as possible, while also striving to retain one's humanity and hope.
