Come check out the alpha 12/11/24 at the UTD capstone celebration!
After the semester is over, I will have much more time to update the game's visuals and gameplay so stay tuned!
Satan was feeling lonely. The people simply don't care about eternal damnation like they used to. Maybe all hell needed was a promotional event to get people excited again. One day, he heard people arguing about how many toddlers they could beat in a fight and then he got an idea. If anyone could defeat 20 waves of toddlers they would acquire powers beyond their wildest imagination.
An upgrade might massively increase your fire rate while standing still but for every moment you stand still there is a very small chance of an anvil spawning above you to crush you or an unfortunate toddler. This game offers 70 unorthodox Faustian upgrades that offer plenty of unique playstyles and difficult choices.
At the end of each wave you can choose to call in multiple waves at once. Very handy if you are speedrunning or just feeling confident.
Explore a variety of powerful weapons that each have two firing modes.
Including a Brella gun with a rifle component and an alt fire that shoots umbrellas that pushes back enemies and deletes projectiles,
A double barrel shotgun with an alt fire that shoots two barrels at once, increasing knock back and penetration while stunning enemies,
An AK-47 with Molotov launcher,
And many more!
Many properties of your character and weapon can be customized allowing you a great deal of freedom. The elemental upgrades are no different. Freeze enemies into frozen blocks that could be arranged into a fortress or be shoved into other toddlers dealing massive damage. Or burn them instead. Be Careful though, fire can spread and hurt you too. If you don’t want the fire to spread, then just don’t get that upgrade.
