Abject Abyss is a first person horror adventure. Take the roll of Ernest Sheffield, a technician, and one of many staff employed by the enormous Luminary Corporation on the distant world of Marzanna. It's been steady work for two years, but everything is about to fall apart.
Explore your surroundings to find useful items. Stims and medications to heal wounds, lost security key fobs, clipboards with vital information, and more scattered across the dark corners of the facility.
There are many dangers inside the collapsing facility, and Ernest isn’t a soldier. Evade danger with care and cunning, and when that fails? Run.
From opening a locked door to restarting a nuclear reactor, use your wits and technical skills to progress through the facility, even as everything falls apart around you.
Linear hand crafted levels, with room for exploration
A variety of twisted monsters. Encounter new horrors as you progress
Simple inventory management. Collect items, but don’t worry about weight or limited space
A focus on building tension and atmosphere rather than repetitive jumpscares
Straightforward puzzles that don't require nonsense item combinations or insane logic
