Get your brain working. Chained Runes requires a good dose of reflection, anticipation and analysis.Battles revolve around 3 elements:
- Runes: the game's main mechanic, place them in your chain to play their effects successively.
- Abilities: allow you to play an effect instantly, available only 1x per turn.
- Talents: Passives that play effects when their trigger's condition occurs.

Choose 3 Arcanes from the 5 available.Each Arcane specializes in one aspect of the battle system (Offensiveness, Survival, Wounds, Aura, Runes) and has its own set of associated runes, abilities and talents.

Scour the lair's 3 floors, encountering a variety of wacky Gormnoqs room after room.Be on the lookout for special encounters scattered around each floor. Chests, tougher enemies and much more.
