A Word from the Composer<\/h2>After reading the synopsis I was hooked! Even though the surroundings look and feel absolutely real to you, you\u2019re in for a surprise! As a survivor, you think you can outsmart the stalker. Again, nothing could be further from the truth... let's just say that death is not an escape.

It is certainly the most addictive game I've played thanks to Behaviour's evil geniuses!

To capture the essence of this \u00abone-track-mind-almost-indestructible\u00bb killer, I immediately switched to \u00abreptilian brain\u00bb mode. Having the luxury and excitement of scoring while playing the game in the development process allowed us to make adjustments so that the music is seamlessly integrated in all other aspects of the game experience.

Creating with this state of mind was a truly compelling and thrilling experience, and with this soundtrack, I hope to re-capture as much as possible the multi-state nature of Dead By Daylight.

          Tracking, Finding and Dismembering<\/h2>The Nurse is a horrid creature with a power called Blink, making her able to teleport between two locations. The Nurse can only teleport in a straight line, but teleporting can be linked \u2013 making her move across a larger area.

          Staying Under the Radar<\/h2>Nea is agile and quick. Years on skateboards and duping cops have made her beyond streetsmart, and as she\u2019s often spending days away from her comfortable and safe home, she\u2019s clever than most.

          \u2022\tBalanced Landing<\/strong> - Falling long distances doesn't make Nea lose her balance.

              Obsessive behaviour<\/h2>Michael Myers is a disturbed being with a mind only focused one thing, killing. He is beyond help, and the only thing that can sooth his mind - for a while - is to kill. His power is called EVIL WITHIN, and as he stalks his prey, he starts to obsess, thus tagging a Survivor as an Obsession. This in turn, changes the chances of survival radically.

              Save the best for last<\/h2> \u2013 As Obsessions stays alive, cooldown of missed and successful attacks are decreased.

              Dying Light<\/h2> \u2013 The Obsession\u2019s\u2019 speed for altruistic actions - such as healing and rescuing - is increased. But once killed, there\u2019s a penalty to repairing, healing and sabotage for other Survivors.

              Play with your food<\/h2> \u2013 As you let your Obsession escape after a chase, your movement speed is increased.

              The babysitter<\/strong><\/h2>Laurie Strode\u2019s suburban way of life was simple, even boring from time to time. Sunday night dinners. Game shows on TV. She filled her days with school, earning a few bucks babysitting the neighbor's kids and seeing friends.                                           Acquaintances are a dangerous deception. Our workplace is filled with them; strangers beside us, five days a week. A distant familiarity grown from habit; the blanks filled with assumptions as we forget how little we know, until proven otherwise.

                                          The Ghost Face took full advantage of the fact. His entourage at the newspaper could have spotted that the Roseville murders led to him. There were clues: the days he missed work, the victims\u2019 time of death, and the detailed articles he wrote citing sources he never shared. But his coworkers did not see. The Ghost Face blended into the everyday. No one thought the man seated on their left could be responsible for the murder of a dozen people. Until proven otherwise.
                                          In the end, The Ghost Face would have gotten away with it as he had before: he would have packed his bags when the investigation pointed in his direction, driven a few miles, and looked for another job. But this time he found a richer hunting ground\u2026

                                          The Ghost Face<\/h2>At first glance, Jed Olsen was a kind and enthusiastic freelancer with experience at various small newspapers.
                                          He was hired at the Roseville Gazette, whose staff appreciated how easy-going he seemed. Olsen didn\u2019t have to justify his erratic career path, which zigzagged between Utah and Philadelphia. He had a good attitude and a decent portfolio, which showed he\u2019d covered serious news such as unsolved murders. Most importantly, he was ready to start right away.

                                          Five months later, the Roseville Murders began: victims ranging from young to old, stabbed to death in their homes. The whole staff was working the story.
                                          The number of victims surged as Olsen worked the story. To heighten the swelling panic in Roseville, Olsen produced the footage of a hooded figure breaking into a house at night. Olsen\u2019s masked face, a white blur in the dark, stared at the camera for a second, before disappearing inside. \u201cThe Ghost Face Caught on Tape\u201d was the title Olsen gave the article. He was proud of his work, enjoying how the whole town now feared a ghost story.
                                          When the investigation started to point in his direction, he left Roseville swiftly. He had written and collected a dozen of articles, all of which fed his legend. Finding a satisfying challenge next would be difficult, yet opportunity found him.

                                              In the end, The Ghost Face would have gotten away with it as he had before: he would have packed his bags when the investigation pointed in his direction, driven a few miles, and looked for another job. But this time he found a richer hunting ground\u2026

                                              The Ghost Face<\/h2>At first glance, Jed Olsen was a kind and enthusiastic freelancer with experience at various small newspapers.
                                              He was hired at the Roseville Gazette, whose staff appreciated how easy-going he seemed. Olsen didn\u2019t have to justify his erratic career path, which zigzagged between Utah and Philadelphia. He had a good attitude and a decent portfolio, which showed he\u2019d covered serious news such as unsolved murders. Most importantly, he was ready to start right away.

                                              Five months later, the Roseville Murders began: victims ranging from young to old, stabbed to death in their homes. The whole staff was working the story.
                                              The number of victims surged as Olsen worked the story. To heighten the swelling panic in Roseville, Olsen produced the footage of a hooded figure breaking into a house at night. Olsen\u2019s masked face, a white blur in the dark, stared at the camera for a second, before disappearing inside. \u201cThe Ghost Face Caught on Tape\u201d was the title Olsen gave the article. He was proud of his work, enjoying how the whole town now feared a ghost story.

                                                                              SPECIAL ATTACK: TENTACLE STRIKE
                                                                              Press and hold the Power button to charge an attack. Once charged, tap the Attack button. Hitting a Survivor with Tentacle Strike afflicts them with the Contaminated status effect and increases your Mutation Rate. If a Survivor is already Contaminated, Tentacle Strike damages their health and increases Mutation Rate.
                                                                              Vaccine found in Supply Cases cures Contamination. Their availability is limited. After using a Vaccine, the Survivor\u2019s location is revealed by Killer Instinct.

                                                                              MUTATION RATE
                                                                              Your power expands as your Mutation Rate grows. At Mutation Rate 2, Tentacle Strike can destroy pallets and breakable walls. At Mutation Rate 3, Tentacle Strike\u2019s range increases. The T-Virus icon displays the current Mutation Rate.



                                                                              SPECIAL ENEMY: ZOMBIES
                                                                              If a zombie hits a Survivor, they inflict them with the Contaminated effect. If already Contaminated, their health will be damaged.
                                                                              Zombies can be destroyed by a Tentacle Strike to increase your Mutation Rate, and Survivors can destroy them with pallets. Destroyed zombies eventually respawn.





                                                                              Nemesis comes with 3 new perks.<\/strong>

                                                                              Lethal Pursuer<\/h2>At the start of each trial the aura of every Survivor will be revealed to you for a brief duration.

                                                                              Hysteria<\/h2>Whenever you put a Survivor into the injured state, all injured Survivors will suffer from the Oblivious status effect for a short time. Activating Hysteria incurs a cooldown.

                                                                              Eruption<\/h2>After damaging a generator its aura will be highlighted in yellow. Put any Survivor into the Dying State and all affected generators will explode, regressing their progress, and afflicting the Incapacitated status effect on anyone repairing them.



                                                                              LEON S. KENNEDY<\/h2>Unflinching in his mission to expose Umbrella, Leon has proven himself a true survivor since his first day with the RPD.

                                                                              Leon comes with 3 new perks.<\/strong>

                                                                              Bite the Bullet<\/h2>Mask all noise including grunts of pain when healing. Failing a healing skill-check will not trigger a noise notification and the amount by which healing is regressed will be reduced.

                                                                              Flashbang<\/h2>After completing a percentage of overall generator repair, enter a locker while empty-handed and press the Ability button to create a Flashbang Grenade used to blind or distract the Killer.

                                                                              Rookie Spirit<\/h2>Complete a certain number of good or great skills checks while repairing generators to activate Rookie Spirit and reveal the auras of all regressing generators on the map.



                                                                              JILL VALENTINE<\/h2>Jill is a brilliant S.T.A.R.S. agent, one of the only surviving members of her unit, and a hard target for even the most unrelenting adversary.

                                                                              Counterforce<\/h2>Cleanse totems faster. After cleansing a totem, the aura of the furthest totem from you will be revealed for a short time and you gain an additional speed bonus on cleansing for the remainder of the trial.

                                                                              Resurgence<\/h2>Instantly gain a sizable percentage of healing progress after being unhooked or unhooking yourself.

                                                                              Blast Mine<\/h2>After completing a percentage of overall generator repair, Blast Mine activates. Use the Ability button to install traps on generators, revealing their auras to all Survivors, and creating an explosion that stuns Killers if they are damaged.

                                                                                          Your power expands as your Mutation Rate grows. At Mutation Rate 2, Tentacle Strike can destroy pallets and breakable walls. At Mutation Rate 3, Tentacle Strike\u2019s range increases. The T-Virus icon displays the current Mutation Rate.



                                                                                          SPECIAL ENEMY: ZOMBIES
                                                                                          If a zombie hits a Survivor, they inflict them with the Contaminated effect. If already Contaminated, their health will be damaged.
                                                                                          Zombies can be destroyed by a Tentacle Strike to increase your Mutation Rate, and Survivors can destroy them with pallets. Destroyed zombies eventually respawn.





                                                                                          Nemesis comes with 3 new perks.<\/strong>

                                                                                          Lethal Pursuer<\/h2>At the start of each trial the aura of every Survivor will be revealed to you for a brief duration.

                                                                                          Hysteria<\/h2>Whenever you put a Survivor into the injured state, all injured Survivors will suffer from the Oblivious status effect for a short time. Activating Hysteria incurs a cooldown.

                                                                                          Eruption<\/h2>After damaging a generator its aura will be highlighted in yellow. Put any Survivor into the Dying State and all affected generators will explode, regressing their progress, and afflicting the Incapacitated status effect on anyone repairing them.

A potential catalyst of humanity\u2019s extinction \u2013 or so it has been called \u2013 The Singularity is intelligent beyond measure and entirely void of morality. Its spread is inevitable, with the ability to materialize across the Map through a network of organic Biopods. Those that resist will only prolong their suffering.

                                                                                                                  The Singularity's Power: Quantum Instantiation<\/strong>

                                                                                                                  The Singularity can shoot several Biopods onto surfaces around the Map. Once a Biopod has been attached, you can use it to locate and spy on Survivors. While surveying from a Biopod, The Singularity can tag Survivors in your line of sight, which applies the Slipstream effect.

                                                                                                                  Once a Survivor is Slipstreamed, The Singularity can materialize behind them and immediately begin chase. A Slipstreamed Survivor will spread the effect to other nearby Survivors.

                                                                                                                  Special State: <\/strong>Overclock Mode: Upon Slipstreaming to a Survivor, The Singularity gains a temporary speed boost to breaking Pallets and Walls, damaging Generators, and Vaulting. During Overclock, you cannot use your Power, and you won\u2019t be stunned when hit by a Pallet. Instead, you\u2019ll become momentarily hindered and the Pallet will be destroyed.

                                                                                                                  EMP Crates spawn across the Map when a Trial begins. Only Survivors can interact with these Crates. Over time, these Crates print EMPs, which can be picked up by Survivors. Survivors can fire the EMP to temporarily disable Biopods and remove Slipstream from other Survivors in range.

                                                                                                                  When injured, you run slightly faster. Upon healing a teammate, gain the Endurance status effect for a brief duration.

                                                                                                                  Scavenger activates while holding an empty Toolbox. Succeed a Great Skill Check when repairing a Generator to gain a Token. When you reach the maximum number of Tokens, you will lose all Tokens and automatically recharge your Toolbox to full. The Perk is disabled upon recharging a Toolbox. You'll also be able to rummage through an opened Chest for a guaranteed basic Toolbox once per Trial.

Succeed a Great Skill Check when repairing a Generator to gain a Token. When you reach the maximum number of Tokens, you will lose all Tokens and automatically recharge your Toolbox to full. The Perk is disabled upon recharging a Toolbox. You'll also be able to rummage through an opened Chest for a guaranteed basic Toolbox once per Trial.
